How do the House of Math Leagues Work?

math leauges

The House of Math Leagues are your way of competing with other learners while on your learning journey. See how you compare to different users each week, and compete for the top prize, being a diamond leaguer!

After earning 250 XP in one week for this first time, you will find yourself in the bronze league. You and 14 other users will compete for the top spots for the right to stay or move up.

Each Monday at 00:00 GMT the best learners in each league will be promoted, while those at the bottom will either find themselves in the same league, or demoted to a lower league.

The criteria for movement in each league are as follows:

Bronze League: The top 10 participants are promoted, while the bottom 5 remain.

Silver League:
The top 8 are promoted, the next 4 stay, and the bottom 3 are demoted.

Gold League: The top 6 are promoted, the next 3 stay, and the bottom 6 are demoted.

Platinum League: The top 7 are promoted, whereas the next 8 are demoted.

Diamond League: The top 3 retain their position, and the next 12 are demoted.

So you see, the higher you climb, the harder it is to be promoted, or even maintain your position. Even more, your competitors will become more challenging! Only the best learners can reach the lustrous diamond league.
